PLYMOUTH PUBLIC LIBRARY, PLYMOUTH, INDIANA

On September 11, 2001, in
stunned silence, I half-heartedly polished the first panel of this set. The
following two days were lost in shock, disbelief, anger, tears, and frequent prayers.
Like most Americans in those painful
days, I felt compelled to act in some helpful way. With the gracious understanding of
Susie Reinholt, the Library Administrator, and her eventual approval, I was allowed to
redesign the center two panels as a memorial to those who so unjustly lost their
lives. |

"REMEMBER" "When we remember,... we conquer fear,...we overcome grief,...and we
defeat terror.
Like "PEARL",...Remember 9/11,....always "REMEMBER"! |
May God's peace come to all who
have suffered from these horrific events.
