                                                 Why am I here?

Glass is fascinating! Though appearing to be a solid, it has the molecular structure of a liquid! This little abnormality is what challenges the glass artist to run a cut (which is actually a break!) where he or she wants it to go. I enjoy that challenge, but even more so, I enjoy the challenge of bringing a smile to the viewer (hopefully a customer!). There is a notable calming or relaxing effect upon the person who views light through stained or leaded glass. The early Christian church recognized this "peace" as a miraculous gift from God. When that glass viewer becomes the owner, the effect multiplies. When a bit of the owner’s personality is first designed into that glasswork, the "peace" in the "piece" becomes immeasurable!

That’s why I am here and that’s what is in my heart! I hope to instill that peaceful inspiration in as many folks as I can. But also, as a business concern in which I work alone, I intend this site to be my SUN GLASSE introduction to the northern Indiana region where my studio is located.    (Bremen, Indiana)

Though my glass cutting experience goes back many, many years, SUN GLASSE, still in its youth, began in 1995. Many stained glass artists on the World Wide Web claim to be the "best" and have completed beautiful commissions on which to base their claim. My web site will not make that claim. However, you will get from me "my" very best in quality and service and I believe you will not be disappointed! I humbly believe that, when I fail, I fail. But when I succeed, that is God working through me!! Please remember that my goal is always your "peace"!

Sincerely,     Dwayne Gooch
